Vision for Our Transportation Future
After nearly two years of intensive collaboration, the bqAZ Statewide Framework Process is nearly complete. Take a look at the 2010 Statewide Transportation Planning Framework.
The bqAZ Statewide Framework Process was modeled after the process used by the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) to conduct a Reconnaissance Study which determined the state's future transportation needs and established an action plan for moving forward. More information regarding the MAG Reconnaissance Study can be found by visiting www.bqaz.org.
Next Steps
The long-range vision for our state is intended to be the foundation for future transportation investment decisions. It is through the State Long Range Transportation Plan and 5 Year Construction Program that envisioned improvements are assigned funding and eventually built.
