FRAMEWORK POLICY COMMITTEE

Provides policy guidance and information to the citizens, Governor and Legislature, working collaboratively to guide the Statewide Transportation Planning Framework toward a systematic transportation plan that emphasizes Smart Growth principles; multimodal solutions; tribal coordination; sustainable land use and open space preservation; and a community-based planning process.

Participation in committee meetings is reserved for committee members and project staff.  Observers are welcome.  Observer comments and questions are solicited in writing at committee meetings. Responses to written observer comments/questions occurs between meetings, with a full report to the committee at the beginning of each meeting of the interaction with observers that has taken place since the last meeting.
